This website gives you one word and sixty seconds to write about that word. This is a great exercise for breaking writer’s block. It keeps you on your toes and gives you a challenge. If you’re like me, you never back down from a writing challenge, so give this a try!

A paperback writer……

Is something that I aspire to be at some point before I die. Even if it is the day before I die. Writing has always been a huge passion for me but I seem to have a HUGE problem finishing writing projects. I get started, get stuck, and then in the middle of being stuck, I get an idea for something completely different and start the process all over again.

I would probably already be a legitimate writer (even if it is only in my own head) if I could manage to finish at least one of the many projects I have stored on shelves, under my bed at my parent’s house, written on note paper shoved in the hundreds of purses I have in my closet and basement, saved on my laptop, AND on my husband’s external hard drive. Did I mention I have a really hard time finishing writing projects??

I created this blog with the intentions of sharing daily writing prompts, tips, and maybe a discussion or two that might get the creative juices flowing and help inspire myself and other writer’s who are stuck in the same position I am in.

I will be posting writing prompts that I dreamed up on my own, prompts from the book 642 Things to Write About by The San Fransisco Writers’ Grotto, and various other sources. Those ideas that are not my own, will be credit it with the original author.
